Energy and Its Sources

You use home energy every day, but how often do you think of its source? Most home energy, in one way or another, comes from the earth. Some electricity is produced via hydropower, which is really just capturing the energy in earth's tumbling waters. Other electricity is produced by burning coal, a resource found within the earth. From the origins of energy, you can see that energy and the environment are inseparably connected. The way you obtain and utilize energy impacts the planet, and how you treat the planet affects the energy you can obtain. On this website, we present articles that we hope offer more insight into this dynamic relationship and how your actions impact it.
